Preparation:
Combine the cream and butter in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until butter is melted. Whisk in the sugar and brown sugar and continue to cook, whisking often, until sugars dissolve. There should be no grittiness. Whisk in cocoa and salt until smooth, dark and glossy, cooking for about 1 minute more. Allow sauce to cool and whisk in CBD hemp oil. Sauce is ready to use.
Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 month. Re-heat sauce very gently, never allowing the temperature to rise above 180°F/82°C. You can do this in a double boiler or even just place the container holding the sauce in a larger pan filled with very hot water.
