Yogurt Dill Sauce

This Yogurt Dill Sauce can be whipped up in 5 minutes and works well with cold poached fish as well as a dip for vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (245 g) lactose-free yogurt, full fat or low fat
  • 1/4 cup (11 g) chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons finely snipped chives
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped scallions, green parts only
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

  1. Whisk together yogurt, dill, chives, scallions and mustard. Taste and season well with salt and pepper. Sauce can be used immediately but improves after an hour’s rest. Sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight.

  2. It will last longer but the bright flavors of the fresh herbs will fade.
