What Are FODMAPs?

FODMAP is an acronym for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides,Monosaccharides and Polyols. They are a group of small carbohydrates (sugars & fibers) that are indigestible or poorly absorbed by certain people, which can lead to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms.
