A Minnesota immigrant previously honored with a prestigious “outstanding refugee” award by the state government has been charged with extensive Medicaid fraud.
Salman Ahmed Elmi is facing serious criminal charges connected to a massive operation that allegedly billed the government for millions in fraudulent services.
