What Does This Mean for Someone Following the low FODMAP Diet?
If you are an Amazon Prime Member or become one before Prime Day you may be able to save some money ordering items you can’t find locally. We always encourage buying locally where possible!
But until Low FODMAP products become more readily available in brick and mortar retail stores we think it important to offer an online alternative. Amazon has the largest selection of many of the brand name products we’ve identifed as low FODMAP or are certified low FODMAP.
Check Out Our Low FODMAP Amazon Shop
We’ve made it as easy for you as possible by organizing our low FODMAP finds in our FODMAP Everyday® Low FODMAP Amazon Shop.
On Amazon Prime Day you should check out any products you are interested in buying and see if they are being offered at a Prime Day Discount.

For Canada and Australia – we are currently working on creating a shop for you- Amazon USA is ahead of the other global Amazon services in terms of providing the same tools.
In the meantime we suggest you go to our Amazon Shop in the US account and make a list of what you would like and then check your country Amazon through these links to find out if the product is available.
Please be sure to double check ingredients of any product – as a product recipe may be different in each country – so something considered low FODMAP in the US may not be in the UK. Always check with your dietitian if you have any questions.
Do The Math
We suggest you do the math – figure out the cost vs the likely use you will get out of the membership – before you become a member – and if you do decide it is worth it for you then you can sign up here. (US)
I personally have taken full advantage of my Amazon Prime Membership which includes access to thousands of streaming shows, free shipping on most of what I buy, access to thousands of ebooks, audio books and music- and now discounts at Whole Foods.
Download our Whole Foods Low FODMAP Shopping List to find the same products on Amazon if you don’t have a Whole Foods near you.
If you are a student the Prime Membership is even a better deal.

We have highlighted below some of our favorite tools & cookbooks below. We won’t know which will have Prime Day deals but be sure to check!
In the US pantry list, you have Heinz Ketchup which contains onion powder, and Trader Joe’s chili sauce, which contains garlic.
We have removed the Chili sauce, as that was an oversight. Thank you for catching it. Ketchup is more complicated. Monash has actually approved ketchup that contains HFCS and also the ketchup they tested was standard ketchup that usually contains onion and/or garlic. It is low FODMAP in 13 g amounts. It comes down to the serving sizes, as is so common with low FODMAP approved foods.
Thank you for sharing this! So helpful.
I noticed the San-J sauces are listed (teriyaki, etc), even though they contain garlic and honey. Am i missing something here on exceptions to the rule for those? Would make life so much easier!
Hi Dee, Great question! The sauces that you mention are Certified low FODMAP by FODMAP Friendly in lab testing. They are safe in the serving sizes stated. It all comes down to amount of the high FODMAP ingredient in the serving size. You might also notice that Monash has lab certified conventional ketchup and Worcestershire Sauce, as examples, and they contain garlic. Some of the new Fody snack bars contain apple juice concentrate and have been certified low FODMAP. The diet is very much connected to serving size.
