Newly declassified documents from the FBI have reportedly revealed some highly sensitive details regarding former Congressman Eric Swalwell and a suspected foreign intelligence operative.
The recently released files shed light on a controversial three-year investigation into his early political career. According to these official memos, the former lawmaker admitted to federal agents that he had intimate physical relations with a woman named Christine Fang on a handful of occasions. Fang was heavily suspected of being an active spy operating on behalf of the Chinese government at the time.

Admitting to a Casual Relationship
During multiple interviews with federal investigators, the California politician reportedly opened up about his private interactions with the suspected intelligence operative.
