This is a series designed as a resource guide, empowering you to gather information and understand the functions of the vital organs in digestion- as well as learn simple techniques you can use yourself to help alleviate pain and discomfort.


First we will introduce each organ or process in some detail. We have provided explanations for scientific or complicated terms to help with clarity and understanding.

We will end each post with a discussion of possible ways to treat discomfort, exploring other options that reduce distortions within the structure of the body that can twist, rotate, tilt, sheer and irritate the gut ie: accident, physical injury, emotional injury, trauma, overuse or repetitive use.

We will learn to create freedom and space in and around the vital organs thus alleviating distortions that contribute to discomfort.
