Maybe you are a Pumpkin Spiced Latte (PSL) fan, or maybe not, but Starbucks offers so many fall and winter drinks, we decided to dive in to check out what’s available. Some are available year-round, but are especially soothing in the cooler months. There are so many delicious sounding choices, we aren’t sure what to order first. Which is your favorite? Have you tried them all? And did you know there is a new Starbucks coffee with…olive oil?

Caramel Brulée Latte

If you’re new to Starbucks holiday drinks, the Caramel Brulée Latte is an excellent starting point. Featuring rich Caramel Brulée sauce inspired by the burnt sugar topping of crème brûlée, this latte boasts sweet and spiced nuances. The caramel brulée garnish provides a delightful crunch, creating a well-balanced, smoky flavor profile that’s eagerly anticipated year after year.

Chestnut Praline Latte

Did you even know there was a Chestnut Praline Latte? We think it is overlooked and underrated. Espresso and steamed milk are combined with flavors of caramelized chestnuts and warm spices—all topped with a holiday finale of whipped cream and specially spiced praline crumbs.

Matcha Tea Latte

This is available year-round, but we love this vivid green beverage cold in the summer and hot in the winter.

Pure matcha is powdered green tea, and as you will be imbibing the entire leaf, not just an infusion, the drink packs a caffeine punch. The drink starts with a combination of matcha powder and sugar, steamed milk is added, but you can also ask for alt milk choices. We love it with almond milk and enjoy it iced as much as we do hot!

Be prepared for people to ask you what you are drinking! The green attracts interest.

Honey Almondmilk Flat White

The Honey Almondmilk Flat White blends steamed almond milk and blonde espresso with a touch of honey, delivering a straightforward, no-frills experience. With less steamed milk compared to a traditional latte, it’s a suitable compromise for those seeking a balanced coffee without excessive milk or calories.

Peppermint Mocha

You know that seasonal chocolate peppermint bark sold in gourmet stores? This is like a liquid version! Decadent mocha sauce meets cool peppermint syrup, rich espresso and steamed milk under a crown of whipped cream and dark chocolate curls. It’s super sweet but you can ask for half the flavored syrup pumps, to make it less sweet, or add a shot of espresso, which will temper the sweetness as well – but up the caffeine!

Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato – Non-Dairy!

The Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato first appeared in 2020 and is now a seasonal menu fave. It combines blonde espresso, brown sugar apple syrup, oat milk, and caramelized spiced apple drizzle. This dessert-inspired delight emits the comforting aroma of apple pie, making it an irresistible treat for those who prefer non-dairy options.

Pistachio Latte

We didn’t even know this one existed! The Pistachio Latte is back after its debut a couple of years ago, and customers love combination of espresso, steamed milk, and sweet pistachio syrup. This opulent choice is further embellished with a salted brown butter topping. Want it dairy-free? Try the oat milk option, which maintains the rich creamy texture.

Caramel Apple Spice – Caffeine Free & Kid Friendly

This warm beverage blends steamed apple juice, cinnamon dolce syrup, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. It is caffeine free and reminiscent of mulled cider.

Moms have suggested requesting the beverage not too hot, so that kids can sip immediately. If it is too “spicy” for the little ones, ask for vanilla syrup to sub for half the cinnamon syrup.

Blonde Vanilla Latte

For those who crave the perfect balance between coffee flavor and sweetness, the Blonde Vanilla Latte is the ultimate choice. This delightful concoction combines smooth blonde espresso with vanilla syrup and steamed milk, resulting in a light-roast, high-caffeine latte that caters to a wide range of taste preferences.

A popular customization is to request a 50/50 blend of hazelnut and vanilla syrups. Highly recommended.

Oleato™ Caffé Latte with Oatmilk

We haven’t tried this one yet! Have you? It is Starbucks Blonde Espresso infused with Partanna® extra virgin olive oil, then steamed with oatmilk. Velvety smooth. Deliciously lush.

Starbucks launched several Oleato™ drinks in Milan and various Italy-based stores, but they are now rolling out to a location near you.

You will be able to find Oleato™ Golden Foam™, Cold Brew, Oleato™ Iced Shaken Espresso, cortados, and more. Did you know that some European locations serve alcohol? The Oleato™ Golden Foam™ Espresso Martini is Starbucks Reserve Espresso, vodka and vanilla bean syrup topped with golden foam – a fusion of fior di latte (sweet cream) and Partanna extra virgin olive oil.
