Thick & Sticky!

This Low FODMAP CBD Hot Fudge Sauce is very thick and sticky – just the way we love it! It firms up tremendously when chilled.

It is easy to reheat and then it hardens again when it hits cold ice cream, although you can also use it on cake or to dip fruit!

CBD Hemp Oil is Non-Psychoactive & Legal

Not only is CBD hemp derived oil non-psychoactive (meaning it will not get you high), but you can even buy it on Amazon!

It is a readily accepted supplement that can provide a relaxed feeling as well as some potential healing properties – again, please read our articles for more detailed explanations.

Let’s Cook with CBD!

This Low FODMAP CBD Hot Fudge Sauce is a pretty straightforward hot fudge sauce. It contains heavy cream and butter, sugar and cocoa and is deep and dark and has that drool-worthy sticky texture that many hot fudge lovers look for.

Choose Your CBD Hemp Oil

I used Elixinol brand when developing this recipe. When making this recipe, follow the amount called for, which is 1 ½ teaspoons of CBD hemp oil product. Using this amount will provide you with the right texture and flavor for the sauce, as we developed in the Test Kitchen.

Using the Elixinol brand means that each 2 tablespoon sized serving of our Low FODMAP CBD Hot Fudge Sauce will contain about 5 milligrams of cannabidiol (CBD).

If you use a different brand, your dosage might vary. If you would like to see our recommendations for CBD oil see below the recipe.

PS: You can make your own lactose-free heavy cream by following our DIY Lactose-Free Dairy recipe.

Where to Buy Quality CBD Oil If You and Your Health Care Provider Have Determined It’s Worth A Try

There are an increasing number of options around where to buy CBD. First, make sure it is legal to purchase CBD (Hemp or Cannibidoil) in your country. Check online for yourself first and be sure you are following the most up to date guidelines you can find.

We have chosen these Hemp CBD sellers based on the following…. the product is full spectrum and made from the whole plant, they can provide third party test results of potency and prove they are clean from chemicals/pesticides,  they are organically grown and preferably non-GMO. We are also affiliates to these sellers – meaning we make a small amount of money if you purchase some product using our link. The price to you is the same. See our Disclosure here.
